Forget the supermarket flowers or last-minute orders that won’t get to your loved one on time. If not wild, go Bloom & Wild: the affordable luxury-gifting brand operates a platform and mobile application to sells flower gifts and subscriptions. The startup is streamlining the flower-buying experience and is the first in the UK offering a convenient letterbox delivery. Bloom and Wild is one of the top-rated Early Metrics companies of the last few months in the UK startup ecosystem.

Through the app, you can choose a bouquet of flowers, which will get hand-picked flowers and delivered to the recipient’ door on the next day. The bespoke boxes, unpacking and bouquet design are an integral part of the experience. Do you want to order truffles or festive candles with the flowers? – You can do that too. The quality of flowers, floristry design and packaging are one of Bloom Wild’s strengths. The firm’s flower supplier, Flamingo Flowers, handles the farming, packing operations and distribution.

Rated in November 2016 by Early Metrics, Bloom and Wild has a well defined international plan. Following initial fulfilment from the UK Hub, the startup is pursuing an expansion into France and Germany in 2017, supported by a £2.5M investment round led by MMC Ventures. The startup’s challenges are currently linked to the enhancement of customer service and quality with an integrated chatbot. It is also looking to further personalize the flower shopping experience with occasion reminders allowing simple one-click orders.
